Van Phat Hung appoints new Deputy General Director

Specifically, the Company has just appointed Mr. Chau Quang Dat as Deputy General Director since November 7. Before being appointed, Mr. Dat did not hold any position at Van Phat Hung.

Since the beginning of the year, Van Phat Hung has had many changes in its leadership, including the dismissal of Ms. Tran Thanh Phuong Trang from the position of Member of the Board of Directors and Member of the Audit Committee; the dismissal of Mr. Phung Dien Trong from the position of Deputy General Director; and the election of Mr. Truong Thanh Nhan to replace Ms. Trang in the Audit Committee.

Regarding business results, in the third quarter of 2025, the Company recorded revenue of VND 38.58 billion, an increase of 110% over the same period; however, after-tax profit was a loss of VND 10.17 billion, while in the same period last year it was a profit of VND 183.32 billion - a decrease of VND 193.49 billion. Gross profit margin also decreased sharply from 36.6% to 1%.

The main reason is that gross profit decreased by 94.3%, financial revenue decreased almost completely (from over 350 billion to 5.29 billion VND), while financial, sales and management expenses, although decreased, still far exceeded gross profit. Accordingly, the third quarter is the fourth consecutive quarter of loss for the enterprise.

The company explained that this result was mainly due to the fact that revenue from the transfer of subsidiaries was no longer recorded as in the same period last year, and that there were no real estate business activities during the period, with revenue mainly coming from the construction sector - which did not generate profits because it was carried out by a third party.

In the first 9 months of 2025, Van Phat Hung achieved VND 81.46 billion in revenue (up 140.1%) but had a loss after tax of VND 19.61 billion, while in the same period last year, it had a profit of VND 145.12 billion.

In 2025, the company plans to have revenue of VND 157.89 billion and profit after tax of VND 23.15 billion. With the current results, Van Phat Hung is still far from the year's target.
