Defeating the Philippines 3-0, the Vietnamese women's futsal team quickly secured a ticket to the quarterfinals of the 2025 Asian Women's Futsal Championship. Evaluating the match, coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang said: "The team entered the game better than the previous match. The players' spirit was also better. We controlled the gameplay and from there had many advantageous situations. Each moment of the match will have different situations. In the first half, we played with a higher pressing, not giving the opponent much space to develop.

In the second half, we increased our concentration and stability. I am very happy that the team won. It was the effort of all the players. They played with more than 100% of their strength."
With a 3-0 victory, the Vietnamese women's futsal team is temporarily leading Group B with 6 points. The final opponent of coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang and his team is Iran, at 4:00 p.m. (Vietnam time) on May 11 at the Hohhot Sports Center (China).

"After each match, the coaching staff analyzes and evaluates to see what the team did well and what was not so good, and also carefully studies the Iranian team to have a reasonable strategy for the next match.
Currently, after the Philippines match, we have no serious injuries. Some players may be a bit overloaded. The coaching staff will have a solution to get them in the best physical condition for the upcoming match," Coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang concluded.
