We visited the Memorial Area, also known as the Temple of the late Chairman of the Council of Ministers Pham Hung. This is a project built by Vinh Long province with an area of about 3.2 hectares, in Long Phuoc commune, Long Ho district, to commemorate the great contributions of comrade Pham Hung; at the same time, it is considered a place toeducate revolutionary traditions for current and future generations.

The memorial site of the late Chairman of the Council of Ministers Pham Hung began construction in October 2000 and was inaugurated in June 2004. In June 2012, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism issued Decision 2133/QD-BVHTTDL, recognizing the memorial site of comrade Pham Hung as a National Monument.

Located in a cool landscape with lots of trees, the Memorial Area of the late Chairman of the Council of Ministers Pham Hung includes two areas: the communal house and the tomb of the Pham family's relatives; constructions in the memorial area (reception house; memorial house; exhibition house; restoration of works: Phu Hai camp, Con Dao prison; Trung Quan leaf house at the Southern Central Bureau Base, in
Tay Ninh ; House 72 Phan Dinh Phung, Hanoi)...

The memorial site of the late Chairman of the Council of Ministers Pham Hung is a place to commemorate revolutionary celebrities. At the same time, it is a place for cultural activities with profound propaganda and education of traditions for today's and future generations.
