Verge TS Pro - electric motorcycle sets record for distance of 310.6 km/charge

The Verge TS is an all-electric motorcycle produced by Finnish brand Verge Motorcycles. The first electric Verge TS Pros will be delivered in late 2022 in Pro and Ultra versions.

Recently, the Verge TS Pro electric motorcycle has set a Guinness world record as the pure electric 2-wheeler with the ability to travel the farthest on just one charge cycle.

This electric motorcycle completed a distance of 193 miles (about 310.6 km) around the capital London (UK) in 16 hours with an average speed of 19.3 km/h.

Despite weighing in at 245kg, the car still had around 7% of its battery capacity left after the endurance test. According to published information, the car can travel up to 350km on a single charge cycle.

This highlight is the electric motor structure integrated directly into the rear wheel, helping to save space in the body, which is only reserved for the electric battery pack with a low center of gravity.

The Pro version is equipped with Ohlins or Wilbers suspension, comes with 17-inch wheels and a 4-piston Brembo brake system on both front and rear wheels.

The Verge TS Pro is equipped with an integrated motor in the rear wheel, producing a maximum power of 102 kW (about 139 horsepower) and a maximum torque of 1,000 Nm.

With a single-speed gearbox without a clutch, this electric motorcycle can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds, before reaching a maximum speed of 200 km/h.

The Lithium-ion battery pack located in the body of the car has a capacity of 24 kWh, supports NACS charging port with DC fast charging capability from 0% to 80% in just 35 minutes.

In the US, the Verge TS Pro and Verge TS Ultra start at $29,900 and $44,900, respectively. The special TS Pro California Edition starts at $30,900.
