Expressing his thoughts on the public's sentiments, Truong Ha sent his thanks to the audience who have accompanied Thien Dang Drama Theater, including the majority of readers of Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper. For over a year, performing with the uncles, aunts, brothers and sisters of Thien Dang Theater has been a great joy for him.
"Moreover, being fortunate to be accepted and loved by the audience is truly a wonderful thing for me. Therefore, I always try to create good impressions in the hearts of the audience through each role, bringing the stage closer to the audience. I myself still realize that my career is still young, there are many things to learn and improve. I hope that the audience will always love and accompany me and all the uncles, aunts and brothers and sisters of Thien Dang Drama Theater, so that I and everyone can be energized, keeping the flame of the profession burning forever" - Truong Ha said.
Actor Truong Ha plays the teacher in the play "The Fateful Ferry"
When asked what his feelings were when he played the character in the play "13 Đức Thầy, Đức Thầy 13", Truong Ha replied: "I personally felt extremely surprised, interested and excited. It can be said that the priest character is a character representing the spiritual beliefs of the villagers. He is the bridge between humans and gods, but things are not that simple. He takes advantage of people's beliefs to benefit himself and aids in wrongdoings, and then becomes an accomplice in pushing the villagers into misery.
For me, this is a difficult but extremely interesting role, a role with a lot of room for me to exploit, explore and develop more of the character's personality through each performance. With each performance, I have the opportunity to find more interesting and unique features of this character and at the same time, I can refine the character to be more distinct.
This role is also a challenge for me in terms of transformation, character creation, voice makeup, or capturing the character's psychology throughout the play. This is also a great opportunity for me to improve and develop my skills further during my career."
Actress Truong Ha in the play "Where the End Begins"
Compared to many young actors who have worked with Meritorious Artist Thanh Loc, Truong Ha has made very rapid progress. Experts commented that he has changed his acting through each play. That is the result of a serious artistic work spirit. His goal is to have a variety of personalities, not to be stereotyped in performance.
Actress Truong Ha
Actress Truong Ha confided: "Up to now, Thien Dang theater has been established for 1 year and 9 months. During that time, I have been with Thien Dang theater. Currently, I have participated in 9 plays being performed, the latest being "Where the End Begins" (authors Tung Phi, Tien Dat, young director Huy An), which will officially premiere around mid-May.
The role that made me the most troubled was the character of Mr. Giao in "The Ferry of Destiny". This is a difficult play, requiring all actors to concentrate highly, the meaning of the words and phrases is full of philosophy and many layers of meaning. The character of Mr. Giao is the oldest character of all the characters, over 60 years old, while my age is only half the character's age. Therefore, when I was assigned this role, I was quite surprised because I didn't understand why it was given to me when it could have been given to someone whose age was more suitable for the character!!".
Actress Truong Ha in the play "Five Nobles Meet"
But then he realized, that is the interesting and wonderful thing about the stage in particular and art in general, requiring the actor to transform. To play this role well, he had to research and carefully observe the habits of people of that age, learn about their gait, sitting posture, voice, and this was a teacher, a person with deep knowledge, so there were even more points to pay attention to!!
How to express the character through the character's demeanor rather than through dialogue is what always makes him struggle. Thanks to in-depth research, Truong Ha has created a strong impression for this role.
Truong Ha said he feels luckier than many of his colleagues because he is still able to perform on stage every week, so this year he will continue with current plays at Thien Dang stage, focusing on practicing for upcoming new plays.
In addition, he participates in dubbing and recording movies as he has always done and if he has the opportunity, he will go to film casting. Truong Ha hopes to be able to carry out some personal projects, but with current conditions, it is not suitable for him to carry them out now.
