In the past 10 years, the District's Fund for the Poor Mobilization Committee at all levels has mobilized over 223 billion VND to support people; 3,084 houses have been built for poor, near-poor and disadvantaged households; 118 new rural bridges have been built. In particular, the local "Sharing the unfortunate" and "Nurturing talents" programs have supported 62 poor people and 29 poor students, with over 1.1 billion VND.
In addition, many models have been implemented in conjunction with professional tasks, aiming to better serve the people, such as the model "No writing, no appointment day" at the Reception and Result Delivery Department of communes and towns. Typically, the model of "Charity House Building Group of Cai Dau Town", with 13 members, was established in 2012, with the goal of accompanying the local government to take care of poor households and households with difficult housing conditions to "settle down and make a living". Since its establishment, the group has built 638 new Great Unity houses for poor, near-poor, and extremely disadvantaged households in and outside the district, with a total amount of 17.8 billion VND. The model of "Free medical transport vehicles in Chau Phu district", launched by the district Red Cross in 2003, with 8 medical transport vehicles. Up to now, there have been 38 specialized medical transport vehicles, each commune has 5-7 drivers ready to serve 24/24 hours. Every year, the ambulance team transports over 4,000 patients inside and outside the district.
The emergence and spread of many good models and creative ways of doing things that have been approved and supported by the people have clearly reflected the process of concretizing learning from Uncle Ho into practice. From there, it has enriched the content and methods of political and ideological education in the new situation in Chau Phu district. In addition to propaganda work, the spread of positive information and the replication of advanced models have also been focused on, contributing to creating motivation to compete in learning and following Uncle Ho.
