(NLDO) - The Vietnam Restaurant Association under the Vietnam Culinary Culture Association - VCCA has just held a ceremony to launch the Executive Committee for the 2023-2027 term.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Chu Hong Minh, Chairman of the Vietnam Restaurant Association, affirmed that in order to truly take advantage of the great advantages and strengths of the Vietnamese restaurant and culinary industry, there needs to be a major, breakthrough change.
Vietnam needs to become a place that gathers not only domestic talents but also international resources, creating a favorable environment for meeting, sharing, inspiring talent development as well as cooperation and investment.

During the 2023 - 2027 term, as the rotating Chairman of the ASEAN Restaurant Association Alliance for the 2024-2025 term, the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Restaurant Association commits to continue to extend the journey of connecting domestic and international resources, while continuing to promote productivity and added value in the restaurant and culinary industry. Support member businesses to develop, join hands for the sustainable development journey of the Vietnamese restaurant and culinary industry in the new period.
The Vietnam Restaurant Association will also take advantage of the strengths and advantages of the Vietnamese restaurant and culinary industry, and coordinate with international resources to jointly write the story "Vietnam - the culinary capital of the world ".

Thanks to the opening up and promotion of tourism, the Vietnamese food, beverage and accommodation market is flourishing with positive signs. Revenue from the food and beverage industry in Vietnam has achieved a high growth rate, forecast to grow by 18% in 2023 and reach a value of nearly 1 million billion VND in 2026 (Vietnam Food and Beverage Market Report 2022).
