According to VNA, under the witness of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh , the ceremony to hand over investment cooperation agreements between Vietnamese and US agencies, organizations and enterprises was carried out in the following areas: Industrial park development; seaport construction; green growth support; pharmaceutical production and distribution; and human resource training in the semiconductor sector.

Also providing information about the signing ceremony of this cooperation document exchange, the Government Newspaper reported that the People's Committee of Hai Phong city and Vietnamese and American enterprises signed cooperation agreements on research and development of Trung Lap, Vinh Bao, Hai Phong industrial parks, Nam Do Son general port and implementation of high-tech projects, supporting Hai Phong in building a green growth strategy; the State Capital Investment Corporation and partners signed cooperation agreements on development and attracting investment in the biopharmaceutical industry...
Also during the Prime Minister's working visit, Vietnam's Golden Gate Group and the US Cargill Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish a Strategic Import Partnership (Type 1), allowing a significant increase in the amount of beef imported from Cargill from 16 million USD in 2022.

Earlier, at noon on September 21 local time, in New York City, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh had a discussion and a working lunch with major US investors, according to VNA.
At the seminar, the Prime Minister affirmed that Vietnam always welcomes investors, including American investors. Vietnam will always accompany, listen to, and support investors, especially continuing to make efforts to perfect the socialist-oriented market economic institution, promoting breakthroughs in infrastructure, including both hard and soft infrastructure, focusing on training high-quality human resources, promoting administrative reforms... to facilitate, reduce costs, and increase competitiveness for investors in the new conditions.
In the coming time, with the policy of cooperation and selective foreign investment attraction, Vietnam will prioritize attracting investment projects in new industries and fields, innovation, green economy, digital economy, circular economy, sharing economy, climate change response, semiconductor production, new energy (such as hydrogen), renewable energy, etc.
The Prime Minister called on US businesses to continue to enter Vietnam to cooperate and invest for mutual benefit, harmony of interests, shared risks, contributing to promoting bilateral relations, improving the material and spiritual life of the people and contributing to peace, cooperation and development in the region and the world.
