
Speaking at the reception, Minister Luong Tam Quang affirmed that Vietnam and Poland still have great potential and room to promote cooperation, especially cooperation between law enforcement agencies of the two countries in the fight against crime.
The Minister of Public Security requested Poland to pay attention to promoting the exchange of information and experience, opening communication channels and exchanges between relevant authorities in the prevention and combat of transnational crimes, international terrorism, drug crimes, high-tech crimes, human trafficking crimes, illegal immigration activities, etc.; promoting training cooperation; supporting each other's stance and policies at regional and international forums; creating favorable conditions for the Vietnamese community to live legally and stably in Poland, simplifying visa procedures for Vietnamese citizens to enter Poland for investment, trade, study and tourism activities, etc.
At the reception, Polish Deputy Prime Minister Krzysztof Gawkowski highly appreciated the role and contributions of Vietnam in general and the Ministry of Public Security in particular in the work of building, perfecting and successfully organizing the signing ceremony of the United Nations Convention against Cybercrime; affirming that this is a symbol of the spirit of multilateralism in the fight against cybercrime.
On this occasion, Minister Luong Tam Quang and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Affairs of Poland Krzysztof Gawkowski signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the two Ministries.
