VN-Index still increased by more than 5 points despite strong selling pressure from the real estate group.

On October 29, the stock market was green. Demand appeared from the beginning of the morning session, causing the VN-Index to increase by nearly 16 points. However, the index narrowed its increase in the late afternoon session due to profit-taking pressure in the large-cap group. At the end of the session, the VN-Index increased by 5.33 points to 1,685.83 points.

Market liquidity increased slightly compared to yesterday's session, with total trading volume on the three floors reaching more than 1,000 million shares, equivalent to a total trading value of more than VND27,261 billion.

Foreign investors reversed to net sell on all 3 floors more than 876 billion VND, focusing on codes MBB (1,48.97 billion VND), VIX (137.67 billion VND), SSI (130.71 billion VND), HPG (123.06 billion VND), VIC (116.78 billion VND)...

On the contrary, the stocks with the most net purchases in this session included HDB (166.78 billion VND),FPT (117.03 billion VND), VJC (45.51 billion VND), HAH (40.05 billion VND), GEX (38.65 billion VND)...

On the HoSE floor, the matched order value this session decreased compared to the previous session, reaching more than VND 23,476 billion.

This session, the codes that contributed positively to the VN-Index increasing by 9.04 points included: VCB, BID, VJC, HDB, BSR , CTG, HPG, LPB, VPB, MBB.

On the contrary, the codes that negatively impacted the VN-Index by 11.6 points included: VIC, VHM, VRE, HVN, VPL, FPT, VIX,VIB , SSI, FRT.

In terms of industry groups, this session, software stocks leaned towards red, down 0.44%, mainly from FPT code... Some codes increased including CMG, ELC, ITD, HPT...

The group of securities stocks performed positively, increasing by 0.08%, mainly from codes TCX, SHS, FUEVFVND, E1VFVN30, AGR, DSC, TVS, FUEKIV30... On the contrary, the codes that decreased included SSI, VIX, VND, VCI, MBS, FTS, BSI, DSE, CTS, VDS...

This session, the majority of banking stocks were green, with an increase of 1.47%, mainly from codes VCB, CTG, BID, TCB, VPB, MBB, LPB, HDB, STB, SHB... The few codes that decreased included VIB...

The real estate stock group this session recorded a decrease of 2.07%, mainly from codes VIC, VHM, VRE, DXG, SJS, TAL, VCR, HDC, CRE... On the contrary, the codes that increased included KSF, BCM, KDH, KBC, NVL, CRV, TCH, VPI, NLG, IDC, DIG, SIP...

Energy stocks traded in green and closed up 3.06%, mainly from codes BSR, PLX, PVS, PVD, OIL, PVT, PVP, VIP, TMB, GSP... Some codes decreased including POS, TD6, NBC, PMS, SFC, ITS, PPY...

The group of raw material stocks this session recorded an increase of 1.7%, mainly from codes HPG, GVR, DGC, KSV, MSR, DCM, DPM, HSG, VCS, PHR, NKG... On the contrary, the codes that decreased included NTP, DHB, THG, LBM, TMG, NNC, GVT, HHP, HAP, BKC, RYG, SCL...

Insurance stocks this session were mostly green, up 0.37%, mainly from codes BVH, BIC, PTI, MIG, BMI, PGI, PRE, ABI, BLI... Some codes decreased including PVI...

Retail stocks this session leaned towards green, up 0.05%, mainly from codes PNJ, HUT, HHS, PET, HTM, VVS, HAX, PSD, C69, TSC, STH... On the contrary, codes that decreased included MWG, FRT, DGW, SVC, TLP, PEG, HTL...

* The Vietnamese stock market index closed in the green today, VNXALL-Index closed up 10.2 points (+0.35%), to 2,915.85 points. Liquidity with a trading volume of more than 942.47 million units, equivalent to a trading value of more than VND 26,643.96 billion. In the whole market, there were 270 stocks increasing in price, 79 stocks remaining unchanged and 106 stocks decreasing in price.

* At the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index closed at 268.04 points, up 1.26 points (+0.47%). Liquidity reached a total of more than 91.77 million shares transferred, with a corresponding trading value of more than VND 1,819.25 billion. In the whole market, there were 91 stocks increasing in price, 62 stocks remaining unchanged and 55 stocks decreasing in price.

The HNX30 index closed up 5.22 points (+0.91%) to 581.41 points. Trading volume reached over 59.06 million units, equivalent to over VND1,408.56 billion. In the whole market, 20 stocks increased in price, 5 stocks remained unchanged and 5 stocks decreased in price.

On the UPCoM market, the UPCoM-Index closed at 112.64 points, up 1.68 points (+1.51%). Market liquidity, total trading volume reached over 48.97 million shares, corresponding trading value reached over 727.81 billion VND. In the whole market, there were 170 stocks increasing in price, 74 stocks remaining unchanged and 62 stocks decreasing in price.

* At the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, the VN-Index closed up 5.33 points (+0.32%) to 1,685.83 points. Liquidity reached over 898.8 million units, equivalent to a trading value of over VND25,749.5 billion. The entire floor had 246 stocks increasing, 39 stocks remaining unchanged and 88 stocks decreasing.

The VN30 Index increased by 0.48 points (+0.02%) and stopped at 1,949.76 points. Liquidity reached more than 422.74 million units, equivalent to a trading value of more than VND 14,218.04 billion. The VN30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 22 stocks increasing, 1 stock remaining unchanged and 7 stocks decreasing.

The 5 stocks with the highest trading volume are SHB (over 117.84 million units), HPG (over 39.44 million units), HDB (over 31.35 million units), KHG (over 31 million units), VPB (over 25.08 million units).

The 5 stocks with the highest price increase are KHG (+6.97%), CTD (+6.97%), LDG (+6.96%), SMC (+6.94%), HAG (+6.94%).
