These are some of the contents agreed upon at the online working session between Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, First Secretary of the Central Youth Union, Chairman of the National Committee on Vietnamese Youth Bui Quang Huy and Ms. Razuvaeva Ksenia Denisovna, Chairwoman of the Russian Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, which took place on the afternoon of October 13.

On behalf of the National Committee on Youth of Vietnam, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the youth of Vietnam, Mr. Bui Quang Huy thanked Ms. Ksenia Razuvaeva and the officials of the Russian Federal Agency for Youth Work for always keeping in touch and sharing information about the youth work of the Russian Federation in the recent past.
Mr. Bui Quang Huy expressed: "The Vietnamese youth and people always remember the valuable assistance and good international sentiment that the people of the former Soviet Union and the Russian Federation today gave to Vietnam in the process of gaining national independence as well as in the period of building, protecting and developing the country."
Regarding youth cooperation between the two countries, Mr. Bui Quang Huy affirmed that the National Committee on Youth of Vietnam and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union always attach importance to and highly appreciate the friendly and cooperative relations with the Russian Federal Agency for Youth Work.

In particular, in the period of 2019 - 2022, despite the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, youth cooperation activities between the two countries were still actively implemented, youth exchange activities with many rich, creative and effective forms, suitable to the actual conditions of each organization and the needs and interests of the youth of the two countries, contributing to strengthening the good traditional friendship between the youth and people of the two countries, deepening the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and the Russian Federation.
Mr. Bui Quang Huy proposed some cooperation contents in the coming time such as: continuing to promote propaganda andeducation for youth of the two countries about the traditional friendship between Vietnam and Russia, which can be done through direct or online propaganda methods.
Research on signing a cooperation agreement between the National Committee on Youth of Vietnam and the Russian Federal Agency for Youth Work for the period 2023 - 2027 focusing on a number of specific areas such as: organizing high-level delegation exchanges and youth and student delegations of the two countries; vocational training associated with employment, developing high-quality human resources; innovative youth startups; youth volunteers; high-tech agriculture ; digital transformation... Research on promoting exchanges of children's delegations of the two countries such as children's summer camps, cultural exchanges...
In addition, the two sides will study and coordinate the implementation of volunteer activities such as organizing for Vietnamese youth and students living and studying in the Russian Federation and organizing for Russian youth and students to come to Vietnam to participate in the annual Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign.
In addition, the Vietnamese side proposed that the two sides consider organizing online discussion and dialogue activities on areas of interest to the youth of the two countries, such as: sharing experiences in building laws, policies, and youth development strategies; exchanges between entrepreneurs, young scientists, and students of the two countries... The First Secretary of the Central Youth Union shared: "Hopefully, in 2024, the two sides will continue to resume bilateral friendship exchange activities between the youth of the two countries, as well as youth cooperation activities within the multilateral framework".
"In the context of the complicated and unpredictable world situation, we suggest that both sides continue to support each other in regional and international youth forums. We hope that, despite the many difficulties in the actual situation, through different measures, we can still maintain exchange activities, enhance understanding and connection between Vietnamese and Russian youth," Mr. Bui Quang Huy emphasized.
World Youth Festival 2024 to take place in Russia
At the meeting, Ms. Razuvaeva Ksenia Denisovna, Chairwoman of the Russian Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, expressed her agreement with the opinions, proposals and recommendations of Mr. Bui Quang Huy, especially the signing of the cooperation agreement for the period 2023 - 2027.
On this occasion, Ms. Razuvaeva Ksenia Denisovna hopes to expand cooperation and exchange between children of the two countries, and carry out many exchange activities for the two countries' youth through summer camps, volunteering, etc.
Ms. Razuvaeva Ksenia Denisovna respectfully invited the Central Youth Union and the National Committee on Vietnamese Youth to send a delegation of 250 delegates to attend the World Youth Festival in 2024. The festival is expected to take place from March 1 to 7, 2024, in Sochi City (Russian Federation) with the participation of 20,000 delegates, including 10,000 delegates from 180 countries around the world.
In response to the invitation, Mr. Bui Quang Huy requested the Russian Federal Agency for Youth Affairs to promptly provide detailed information on the topics and contents discussed at the forums so that the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the National Committee for Vietnamese Youth can proactively select suitable delegates and prepare the content for participation.
