At the meeting, Minister Nguyen Manh Hung and Ambassador Ito Naoki discussed and exchanged on cooperation contents in the field of Information and Communications, including: 5G, digital transformation, human resource training in the field of cyber security. Both sides expressed their belief that these contents will contribute to strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the field of Information and Communications, opening up new cooperation opportunities between the two countries.
Minister Nguyen Manh Hung, representatives of units under the Ministry took souvenir photos with Ambassador Ito Naoki and representatives of the Embassy of Japan in Vietnam.
Minister Nguyen Manh Hung said that Vietnam will soon announce the National Strategy on the Semiconductor Industry. Vietnam wishes to cooperate with Japan in this field. Vietnam can provide human resources in the semiconductor industry to Japan and Japan can open more semiconductor factories in Vietnam to expand the supply in Japan's supply chain. At the same time, the two sides can also strengthen cooperation between universities of the two countries to train and exchange students in this field.
