Coach Nguyen Viet Thang and Ninh Binh Club achieved an impressive record in the 2024-2025 National First Division, with 19 unbeaten matches, including 18 wins, scoring 38 goals and conceding only 2 goals.

Coach Nguyen Viet Thang was honored by his students after winning the First Division Championship.

However, after helping Ninh Binh return to the top Vietnamese playground, the former national player will not take the position of head coach of the team from next season. It is expected that Coach Viet Thang will go to Japan to attend a professional coaching certificate course.

After winning the 2024-2025 First Division Championship, the Board of Directors of Ninh Binh Club held a meeting to deploy the first preparations for the new season. In particular, Coach Nguyen Viet Thang and Technical Director Le Phuoc Tu will attend a Pro Coaching Certificate course in Japan from June 29 to July 21.

During the selection of a new head coach, assistant Truong Dinh Luat will be promoted to the role of interim coach of Ninh Binh Club. To prepare for V-League 2025-2026, Ninh Binh Club's leadership plans to recruit a famous foreign coach.
