VIETNAM FOODEXPO 2025: Convergence of domestic and international food quintessence

On November 12, 2025, at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC, 799 Nguyen Van Linh, Tan My Ward, Ho Chi Minh City), the opening ceremony of the Vietnam International Food Industry Exhibition 2025 - Vietnam Foodexpo 2025 took place. The most important international trade promotion event of the largest scale in the field of food industry, agricultural products and fisheries in Vietnam, chaired by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, assigned to the Department of Trade Promotion (XTTM) to coordinate with domestic and international partners to organize.

Speaking at the Opening Ceremony of the Exhibition, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Phan Thi Thang said: VIETNAM FOODEXPO is one of the most prominent trade promotion activities in the field of food industry, a national forum of the Vietnamese food industry, a place where hundreds of businesses with thousands of brands, key and developing agricultural and food products of Vietnam as well as the world's food elite, along with a variety of advanced and modern food processing machinery and technology.

“After more than a decade of accompanying businesses, VIETNAM FOODEXPO has created a great attraction, attracting thousands of domestic and foreign businesses to participate. With professional and effective investment, it helps businesses in the food industry introduce and promote their brands, boost business cooperation, and expand import and export markets,” Deputy Minister Phan Thi Thang emphasized.

VIETNAM FOODEXPO 2025 is large-scale with over 500 booths of nearly 400 Vietnamese and international enterprises from over 20 provinces and cities of Vietnam and from nearly 20 countries/territories: Korea, Japan, Russia, Turkey, Finland, Poland, Sweden, India, Thailand, Brazil, Italy, Malaysia, Myanmar, New Zealand, Singapore, China, Taiwan, Canada, Cambodia...

VIETNAM FOODEXPO 2025 marks the largest number of Japanese enterprises participating ever with nearly 40 prestigious enterprises in the fields of seafood, processed foods, beverages... bringing high-quality products, advanced processing technology and leading food safety solutions. This promises to be an ideal destination for enterprises, importers, distributors and partners in the food and beverage industry looking for supply sources, technology and sustainable trade cooperation opportunities with Japanese enterprises.

At this year's Exhibition, the product lines on display and introduced are diverse, spanning across many fields such as: agricultural products (vegetables, tea, coffee, pepper, cashew nuts, etc.); raw and processed seafood; processed foods and beverages (confectionery of all kinds, butter, milk, canned and processed foods, additives and spices, beverages of all kinds, functional foods, etc.); machinery, equipment, food processing technology, food preservation and packaging technology, food safety and hygiene technology , etc.

At this year's Exhibition, the displayed and introduced products are diverse and spread across many fields.

Grasping the growing trend of using organic and natural foods globally, driven by growing concerns about health, the environment and sustainability, at VIETNAM FOODEXPO 2025, hundreds of products from vegetables, fruits, coffee, tea, nuts, honey, coconut oil to spices and processed foods continue to be gathered, all grown and produced according to natural processes, achieving international certifications such as USDA, EU Organic, JAS,...

The presence of these products not only contributes to enhancing the value of Vietnamese brands but also affirms the sustainable development orientation of the food industry in the integration period.

Modernizing trade promotion activities of the Industry and Trade sector

This year's exhibition has two prominent pavilions creating important highlights, including: The Vietnam National Brand pavilion in the food sector, displaying and introducing typical, high-quality products, demonstrating the image and value of the national brand, contributing to affirming the prestige, production capacity and competitiveness of Vietnamese enterprises in the international market; The pavilion of the Digital Trade Promotion Ecosystem and Investment in the Vietnamese Food Industry, introducing platforms, tools and digital transformation solutions in trade promotion activities, investment and supply-demand connection, demonstrating the direction of innovation and modernization of trade promotion activities of the Industry and Trade sector in the context of strong digital economic development.

This year's exhibition has two prominent booths that create important highlights.

In particular, for the first time, the online exhibition VIETNAM FOODEXPO 2025 was officially launched on the Arobid TradeXpo platform, marking an important step in the journey of digitizing Vietnam's trade promotion activities. The online exhibition is held in parallel with the live VIETNAM FOODEXPO 2025 and takes place from November 12 to 30, 2025, promising to bring a multi-dimensional trade connection space between Vietnamese enterprises and international partners in the food, agricultural and seafood industries.

Within the framework of the Exhibition, there is also the ITC SheTrades & UPS Vietnam Pavilion (this is a project to support small and medium enterprises to overcome export-related barriers) introducing 8 small and medium enterprises led by women. The eight enterprises at the Pavilion not only demonstrate innovation and quality, but also represent the spirit of resilience, creativity and the growing role of Vietnamese enterprises in the global food industry.

The exhibition attracted a lot of attention from the business community.

This year, the Exhibition has attracted a lot of attention from the business community. Although the Exhibition's online registration portal has only been opened for nearly a month, it has received more than 2,000 pre-registrations from buyers from nearly 50 countries/territories around the world. This shows the growing trust, interest and attractiveness of the Vietnamese food market to international friends in general, and the appeal of Vietnam Foodexpo in particular on the map of the food and beverage industry. VIETNAM FOODEXPO 2025 will last until November 15, 2025.

Along with the display of goods, within the framework of the Exhibition, there are also a series of exciting activities such as: Vietnam Foodforum 2025 International Conference on the Food Industry with the theme: Vietnamese Food Brand - Breakthrough from digital trade promotion; Training on "Improving export promotion capacity and effectiveness of participation in exhibitions and fairs"; Organizing a series of training programs on risk management in trade promotion and import-export business with RCEP markets...

During the exhibition, there will also be trade connection programs for Vietnamese enterprises with international importers in the form of 1:1. It is expected that there will be thousands of direct contacts and transactions between Vietnamese enterprises and domestic and foreign buyers and investors arranged right at the exhibition. At previous exhibitions, hundreds of large-value contracts were made through trade programs.

After successful events, this year VIETNAM FOODEXPO will continue to help Vietnamese food industry enterprises better promote their internal capacity, grasp and take advantage of the incentives of many new generation bilateral and multilateral free trade agreements that Vietnam is a member of, and make stronger breakthroughs in the domestic and international markets.
