VinFast reaches 100,000 cars after 3 quarters

On October 11, billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong's VinFast officially set a new milestone for the Vietnamese automobile industry when it became the first brand to sell more than 100,000 cars in just the first three quarters of 2025.

This is also the 11th consecutive month that VinFast has held the position of best-selling car brand in Vietnam.

According to the sales report, in September 2025, VinFast delivered 13,914 electric vehicles of all kinds, bringing the cumulative total since the beginning of the year to 103,884 vehicles. This is an unprecedented number in the history of the Vietnamese automobile market.

Leading the sales chart is the VF 3 "national electric car model" with 31,386 vehicles in 9 months. Next is the VF 5 with 30,956 vehicles, of which the VF 5 Herio Green version for transportation services reached 8,604 vehicles. The VF 6 model recorded 14,425 vehicles; the VF 7 reached 5,877 vehicles and the MPV Limo Green line made a strong breakthrough in September with 2,120 vehicles delivered.

VinFast representatives said that with two factories in Hai Phong and Ha Tinh having expanded capacity, the car company expects to continue setting new records in the fourth quarter, the peak period of the year.

Ms. Duong Thi Thu Trang - Deputy General Director of Sales and Marketing of VinFast Global - said that behind the sales of more than 100,000 cars are millions of customers' support and trust. The car company is committed to continuously bringing more value to Vietnamese consumers, while contributing to strongly promoting the national green transformation.

According to experts, the fact that VinFast has surpassed all imported gasoline and electric car brands for 11 consecutive months shows the spectacular transformation of the Vietnamese automobile industry from a "follower" to a trend leader.

VinFast's achievement of 100,000 vehicles is not only a business record but also an important indicator that electric vehicles are becoming the mainstream choice of Vietnamese consumers.
