At the "CNN Indonesia Business Summit" held in Jakarta (Indonesia) on December 20, VinFast was awarded the special award "Car brand with the greatest contribution to the environment and sustainability of Indonesia". The Vietnamese car company is also the only car brand to receive the award from CNN Indonesia. This is one of the important events of CNN Indonesia to honor organizations and businesses that have made meaningful contributions to improving the quality of life, promoting sustainable development and solving social issues in the archipelago country. This award is a worthy recognition for VinFast for its efforts to promote sustainable transport development as well as contributing to the green transition process in Indonesia in recent times. Previously, the Vietnamese car company showed its commitment to accompany Indonesia when it officially broke ground on the electric vehicle assembly plant project in Subang, West Java in July 2024. This is a highly appreciated project in Indonesia as it creates thousands of job opportunities for local people as well as helps promote the electric vehicle industry in this country.10 months of joining, VinFast stirs up the Indonesian market After just over 10 months of joining the Indonesian market, VinFast has officially delivered two electric car models, VF 5 and VF e34, to Indonesian users. Quality electric car models and diverse sales policies, with the option of renting or buying batteries, paying in installments... have brought electric cars closer to people in the archipelago country. In addition to means of transportation, recognition for VinFast and its strategic partners also comes from valuable contributions to the green ecosystem in Indonesia. In December 2024, V-GREEN - a partner developing charging stations for VinFast and the multi-industry corporation Prime Group (through its subsidiary in the UAE) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the goal of developing about 100,000 VinFast electric vehicle charging stations in Indonesia within the next 3 years with a total expected investment of up to 1.2 billion USD. Another partner of VinFast, GSM Green and Smart Mobility Joint Stock Company, has also launched the SM Green electric taxi service in Indonesia, helping to bring green and smart mobility options to users here. |
