Vingroup is in the TOP 40 largest enterprises in Southeast Asia 2025

According to Fortune magazine's ranking of the 500 largest enterprises in Southeast Asia (Southest Asia 500), Vingroup Corporation ranked 37th, up 8 places compared to last year.

According to the newly announced Fortune Southeast Asia 500 rankings (500 largest enterprises in Southeast Asia), Vingroup Corporation ranked 37th, up 8 places compared to 45th place in the 2024 list. With this position, Vingroup continues to lead the private enterprise sector in Vietnam.

This is the second year Fortune Magazine has published a list of the 500 largest enterprises in Southeast Asia, based on total revenue and financial indicators of enterprises from 7 countries in the region, including: Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines and Cambodia.

This year’s Southeast Asia 500 ranking honors businesses that are ready to break out, making the most of the shift in global supply chains and the boom in cutting-edge industries such as electric vehicles (EVs) and artificial intelligence.

In addition to the asset scale criterion, Vingroup Corporation is highly appreciated in financial indicators and business performance. According to Fortune , in 2024, Vingroup will achieve 7,547.8 million USD in revenue and 475.1 million USD in profit, up 11.4% and 450.5%, respectively. Vingroup's total assets will reach 32.8 billion USD.

Vingroup is operating in many fields, from industry - technology, trade - services, social charity, to infrastructure and energy. In particular, VinFast - Vingroup's pure electric car brand, has successfully listed its shares on the NASDAQ stock exchange (USA).

Also in the Fortune rankings, in the TOP 40, there is the Vietnam National Industry and Energy Group ( Petrovietnam ) ranked 11th. This is the first time Petrovietnam has been honored in an international and regional ranking.

Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) ranked 43rd and is the highest ranked unit in the entire Vietnamese banking industry.

According to Fortune statistics, Vietnam has 76 businesses on the list this year, with total revenue of more than 161 billion USD and a workforce of more than 1.1 million people.
