Vingroup launched the campaign "Fierce Vietnamese spirit - for a green future"

Vingroup Corporation officially launched the campaign "Fierce Vietnamese Spirit - For a Green Future" to call on the entire community to join hands in developing a world-class Vietnamese electric vehicle brand, contributing to strongly promoting the green transformation process for today and tomorrow. Participating in the launching ceremony were representatives of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the Ministry of Transport , international organizations, representatives of all walks of life such as the Youth Union, Student Association, Association of the Elderly, as well as partner businesses. At the launching ceremony, Vingroup Corporation announced an action program with strong and drastic commitments.

Accordingly, in addition to efforts to research and develop VinFast electric cars and motorbikes to become better, cheaper, and smarter, worthy of the pride of the Vietnamese people, Vingroup will mobilize the entire ecosystem into the green transformation.

Vingroup officially launched the campaign "Fierce Vietnamese Spirit - For a Green Future" from June 26.

Specifically, from July 1, 2024 to July 1, 2026, VinFast electric cars will be free of parking (under 5 hours) and given priority parking at all locations in the Vingroup ecosystem. VinFast cars will also be charged for free at V-GREEN charging stations from now until July 1, 2025. Vinhomes residents who own VinFast electric cars will have the privilege of parking and charging for free at Vinhomes parking lots within the next 2 years. In case residents choose to charge at home, Vingroup will support them with installing charging posts at their door with a support cost of up to VND 10,000,000/post, and provide VND 900,000/car/month for charging costs from now until July 1, 2026. VinFast electric car owners in Vinhomes apartments will be given priority for parking if there is space available. In particular, with the high-end VF 9 car line, VinFast also applies many other privileges such as support for changing to a new car and commitment to buy back the car throughout its life cycle; free charging for 2 years at V-GREEN charging stations; having a dedicated care hotline or being given priority service at service workshops. With VinFast electric motorbikes, from now until August 31, 2024, VinFast will immediately give away 2-4 million VND/vehicle or allow installment payments with 0% interest within the first 6 months, give an additional 1-2 million VND depending on the car model and many other valuable prize opportunities.

The launching ceremony affirms Vingroup's prestige and influence in the green transformation, contributing to the national goal of achieving net zero emissions by 2050.

In addition, to practically encourage people to own and use electric vehicles, Vingroup announced VIP privileges and a dedicated service stream for VinFast electric vehicle owners when using services in the Group's ecosystem. Currently, after nearly 2 years of switching to 100% pure electric, VinFast owns a range of pure electric products covering all segments, meeting the diverse needs of consumers. Not only pioneering and leading the trend of "greening" transportation, VinFast is also considered a symbol of "Fierce Vietnamese Spirit" reaching international standards in the field of industry and high technology in the world . Speaking at the event, Mr. Nguyen Viet Quang - Vice Chairman and General Director of Vingroup said: "With strong commitments and actions, Vingroup wants to inspire and call on everyone to express the 'Fierce Vietnamese Spirit', join hands to contribute to building a greener future for ourselves and future generations". Previously, Vingroup signed a green transformation cooperation agreement with many leading agencies, units and enterprises in Vietnam to spread Vietnamese pride as well as promote green transformation in all activities. In parallel with VinFast, Vingroup's Green Future Fund is also actively implementing 10 action programs, expanding cooperation, diversifying funding sources to maximize operational efficiency. The launching ceremony took place in the context of air pollution in large cities reaching an alarming level, urgently requiring comprehensive green transformation from production, business to living and consumption habits of each citizen. The presence of many domestic and foreign agencies, unions and social organizations at the launching ceremony affirmed Vingroup's prestige and influence in the green transformation process.
