Joining the jubilant and excited atmosphere to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and major holidays of the year, recently, the Liaison Committee of War Veterans of Regiment 95 of Vinh Phuc province coordinated with local Party committees and authorities in the province to solemnly organize the Ceremony of awarding Commemorative Medals to representatives of relatives of 123 martyrs of Vinh Phuc province belonging to Regiment 95.

Regiment 95, formerly belonging to the Central Highlands front, now belonging to Division 2, Military Region 5, is one of the first main regiments of our Army, established on August 23, 1945. During the resistance wars for national liberation and the war to defend the Fatherland, performing international duties in the Cambodian battlefield, many comrades directly participated in combat. Vinh Phuc province had nearly 500 comrades assigned and directly participated in combat, serving in combat, of which 123 comrades heroically sacrificed.
The awarding of the Medal of Honor shows the gratitude of today's generations to those who have contributed to the revolution, contributing to easing the pain of loss of relatives and families of martyrs. At the same time, it contributesto educating the tradition for today's and future generations about the bravery and patriotism of the previous generation, thereby striving to study, practice, and contribute to building and defending the Fatherland.
