In particular, the automobile and motorbike manufacturing industry in May tended to decrease compared to April due to low consumer demand and competition with imported vehicles and vehicles using electric motors.
It is estimated that in the first 6 months of 2025, the output of the two new automobile and motorbike industries will reach 43.4% and 43.9% compared to the province's annual growth scenario.
Other industrial production sectors such as textile, garment, tile, and metal production are showing a slowing growth trend in May, with estimated output for the first 6 months continuing to grow slower than expected.
To achieve the growth target as set out in the scenario of 9.7-11% increase in 6 months, the Provincial People's Committee requires all levels and sectors to regularly grasp the operating situation of enterprises, especially large enterprises such as Honda, Toyota, electronic component manufacturing enterprises... to provide maximum support for these enterprises to expand their consumption markets, promote production and business, creating the main driving force for the industry to achieve the set scenario target.
