Vinh Phuc strictly implements amnesty review work in 2025

On the morning of April 11, the working delegation of the Supreme People's Procuracy led by Mr. Tran Hai Quan, Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy, member of the 2025 Amnesty Advisory Council, had a working session with the Vinh Phuc Provincial Police; directly inspected the preparation of amnesty proposal files at the Provincial Police Detention Center.

Attending the meeting were Major General Nguyen Viet Hung, Deputy Director of the Department of Criminal Judgment Enforcement and Judicial Support, Ministry of Public Security ; leaders of the following units: Provincial People's Procuracy; Provincial People's Court; Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee and Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.

The working delegation of the Supreme People's Procuracy directly inspected the Provincial Police Detention Center on the results of the implementation of the 2025 amnesty work of the Provincial Police; met and encouraged prisoners.

Working at the Provincial Police, Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy Tran Hai Quan praised the sense of responsibility for the results of the special amnesty work at the Vinh Phuc Provincial Police Detention Center in carrying out the special amnesty task in 2025. The Criminal Enforcement Agency of the Provincial Police, the Provincial Police Detention Center, and the Provincial People's Court promptly deployed and fully implemented Decision No. 266 dated March 3, 2025 of the President on special amnesty in 2025 and related legal provisions. Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy Tran Hai Quan highly appreciated the Provincial People's Procuracy for closely supervising the special amnesty review work in 2025.

The Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy requested that in the coming time, the Provincial Police Department closely coordinate with local functional units to continue promoting propaganda about the Party and State's lenient policy on amnesty. Organize the Ceremony to announce the President's amnesty decision in 2025, issue amnesty certificates, support travel expenses, food expenses... to create conditions for relatives to pick up amnestied people to their place of residence. Notify the People's Committee at the commune level where the amnestied person is located of necessary information related to the amnestied person to carry out the work of receiving and supporting amnestied people to reintegrate into the community.
