Vinh Phuc and Vingroup cooperate comprehensively to promote green transformation

In order to effectively implement the Project to attract strategic investors to invest in Vinh Phuc province until 2023 and Plan No. 203 of the Provincial People's Committee on the implementation of the project; Project to support connection, linkage and cooperation between provincial enterprises and FDI enterprises to gradually participate in the global supply chain and Plan No. 253 on the implementation of the project; Plan No. 196 on improving and enhancing the provincial green index (PGI) until 2025 of the Provincial People's Committee, on November 23, the Provincial People's Committee will coordinate with Vingroup to organize the conference "Green transformation - awareness and action for a sustainable future of Vinh Phuc".

At the conference, a signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding on Investment Cooperation (MOU) will take place between the Provincial People's Committee and Vingroup Corporation on comprehensive cooperation in promoting and attracting investment, linking cooperation to support businesses, promoting green transformation, sustainable development and investment research in many key areas of the province.

With the orientation of promoting green transformation, the Provincial People's Committee will accompany Vingroup Corporation in the campaign "Fierce Vietnamese Spirit - For a Green Future", thereby hoping to actively contribute to building a solid foundation for a green Vietnam, as well as raising the position of Vietnamese brands in the international arena.

The province is gradually researching, developing and implementing a green transformation strategy to achieve the Net Zero target, in line with the Prime Minister 's orientations and policies. This strategy includes developing sustainable infrastructure, protecting the environment and encouraging renewable energy solutions.

Currently, Vinh Phuc has been affirming that it is a locality with great development potential, attracting the attention of many large corporations, who are looking for investment opportunities. The viewpoint of the provincial leaders is always ready to receive and implement new projects. In particular, the province always pays attention to environmental issues and social security for the people in the development process.

In addition, the two sides also committed to promoting trade and investment demand for businesses from Vinh Phuc province to participate in the supply chain and ecosystem of Vingroup Corporation; organizing communication campaigns to raise awareness of the benefits of electric cars and green transformation.

In addition, from November 23 to 24, Vingroup Corporation will organize the VinFast Car Roadshow - Journey of "Fierce Vietnamese Spirit" at Ho Chi Minh Square, with many activities such as displaying and test driving electric cars, electric motorbikes, experiencing VinFast electric buses and many other sideline activities.
