Despite the unpredictable weather conditions, nearly 200 soldiers participating in the parade of Military Region 1 still enthusiastically practiced their formations and ranks. Behind the red faces due to the sun were perseverance and high determination to have the best parade to serve the 70th Anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024).
The soldiers participating in the parade were selected from units under Military Region 1, ensuring standards of age, height, physical strength... and were divided into 2 groups: male and female. The soldiers gathered to practice from February 19, 2024. On March 17, 2023, the groups moved to the National Military Training Center 4 for joint training. It is expected that on April 22, 2024, the forces will move to Dien Bien Phu city to continue joint training, preliminary review, general rehearsal and officially perform their duties on May 7, 2024.
