Many consumers have expressed concerns about his role and responsibilities in promoting and distributing Kera vegetable candy products. These concerns stem from his constant and prominent presence in product marketing activities, especially on social media platforms.

Although not a shareholder of Chi Em Rot Group Joint Stock Company, Tien Nguyen is one of the four faces that regularly appear during livestreams selling Kera vegetable candy products along with Quang Linh Vlogs, Hang Du Muc and Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien.

Notably, Tien Nguyen also plays an important role in the business ecosystem related to Quang Linh Vlogs. Accordingly, Nguyen Van Tien (born in 1986) is holding the position of General Director and Legal Representative of Quang Linh Global Joint Stock Company.

This enterprise was established in January 2024 with an initial charter capital of VND2.9 billion. Of which, Tien Nguyen contributed VND2.03 billion, equivalent to 70% of the capital; shareholder Tran Manh Toan contributed VND290 million, equivalent to 10% of the capital and shareholder Cao Tieu Minh contributed VND580 million, equivalent to the remaining 20% ​​of the capital.

In early April, the Investigation Police Agency initiated a criminal case of "Production of counterfeit food products and Customer Deception" related to Asia Life Joint Stock Company and Chi Em Rot Group Joint Stock Company in Ho Chi Minh City and Dak Lak.

In particular, the investigation agency prosecuted Nguyen Phong - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Asia Life Joint Stock Company; Le Tuan Linh - Director, legal representative of Chi Em Rot Company; Le Thanh Cong - Member of the Board of Directors.

The Ministry of Public Security also prosecuted Pham Quang Linh (Quang Linh Vlogs) - Member of the Board of Directors and Nguyen Thi Thai Hang (Hang Du Muc) - Chairwoman of the Board of Directors. During the investigation, the Ministry of Public Security determined that the defendants had signs of crimes of Producing counterfeit food products and Deceiving customers.

Expanding the investigation, the Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency issued a decision to prosecute and temporarily detain Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien (Miss Grand International 2021) for the crime of "Deceiving customers" and prosecute 4 leaders of Asia Life Joint Stock Company for the crime of "Producing counterfeit food products".
