On the evening of May 27, Quy Nhon Binh Dinh won a valuable 1-1 draw against host Dong A Thanh Hoa in round 24 of LPBank V-League 1 2024 - 2025.

Before the match at Thanh Hoa Stadium, the team from the land of martial arts was temporarily at the bottom of the table when SHB "surpassed" them by more than 1 point on the rankings. Therefore, they were forced to gain points to escape the relegation position.

Dong A Thanh Hoa, with their superior force, dominated the visitors for most of the match. The home team continuously created many dangerous opportunities, but it was not until the 35th minute that they scored the opening goal after a mistake by the opponent's defense.

Binh Dinh FC scored a "golden" equalizer from substitute striker Vu Minh Tuan. From Duong Van Khoa's cross, the ball went uncomfortably and fell right where Minh Tuan was waiting. He easily kicked the ball into Thanh Hoa's net, scoring an emotional equalizer.

In the end, the two teams tied 1-1. Dong A Thanh Hoa missed out on victory and accepted 7th place with 31 points.

Meanwhile, Coach Tran Minh Chien's team rose to the second-to-last position and still has a make-up match against Cong An Ha Noi. There are still 2 rounds left in the season, so fans have the right to hope that the team from the land of martial arts can successfully stay in the league.
