Following a centuries-old tradition, the coronation of King Charles III will be held at Westminster Abbey, where the Archbishop of Canterbury will call on all Englishmen to swear allegiance and pay homage to King Charles III.

King Charles III then took an oath pledging to rule the United Kingdom and the 14 other Commonwealth countries "according to their laws and customs", and to maintain the Religion and Church of England.

King Charles III may kiss the special gold-leaf Bible used for his coronation, before signing the Oath.

Next, the new king will be anointed with newly made coronation oil and then he will be presented with the "royal regalia", including the Jade Offering Sword.

King Charles III will be crowned with the St Edward's Crown, before a royal cannon salute. The king will then be escorted to the throne to symbolically take control of the United Kingdom.

Following the coronation, a short ceremony will see Camilla crowned Queen Consort after paying homage to King Charles III.

13:00 (19:00 Vietnam time): The coronation ceremony will continue at Buckingham Palace (after returning from Westminster Abbey) with the participation of nearly 4,000 military personnel.

14:15 (20:15 Vietnam time): 15 members of the Royal Family will gather on the balcony of Buckingham Palace and will pay their respects to King Charles and Queen Camilla.
