Vung Tau proposes to open part of Back Beach to serve people on April 30 holiday

On April 22, Vung Tau City proposed to the Provincial People's Committee to allow residents and tourists to visit and experience part of the infrastructure of the Thuy Van road renovation project, Bai Sau beach area, on the occasion of the upcoming April 30 holiday.

According to the plan, the section from Phan Chu Trinh Street to The Imperial Vung Tau Hotel will be opened, including items such as walking paths, green areas, lawns, check-in gates, sightseeing bridges, culinary spaces, lighting...

To ensure safety, unfinished items will be cordoned off, fenced off and clearly signposted. Vung Tau City will also arrange for staff to guide, ensure hygiene, security and order and install public toilets to serve tourists.

The Thuy Van Road Renovation Project started on October 28, 2024 with a total investment of VND 1,097 billion, aiming to renovate Bai Sau Park and rebuild the entire 3.2 km coastal park. It is expected to be completed before May 30, 2025, however, some items may be extended until before September 2 due to many reasons.
