Among the 10 most famous beaches in the world on TikTok, there are 2 representatives from Vietnam, with videos attracting hundreds of millions of views.

Bounce, a US-based global luggage storage company, compiled a list of the world's most popular beaches, based on statistics on the number of posts on Instagram and TikTok.

The top 10 most famous beaches in the world on Tiktok include: Bondi Beach (Sydney, Australia), Pattaya (Thailand), Vung Tau Beach (Vietnam), Nha Trang Beach (Vietnam), Kelingking Beach (Indonesia), JBR Beach (Jumeirah, UAE), Airlie Beach (Bowen, Australia), Whitehaven Beach, (Queensland, Australia), Manly Beach (Sydney, Australia) and Playa Paraiso Beach (Tulum, Mexico).

Ranked 3rd in the list of most checked-in spots on TikTok, the video about Vung Tau beach attracted more than 238.1 million views.

The report states that Vung Tau beach is one of the most famous Vietnamese beaches in the world, with its natural beauty and long stretches of white sand. Videos posted on Tiktok by tourists about Vung Tau beach share the view of the rocky embankment and the experience of drinking fresh fruit juice bought right on the beach.

Nha Trang is also in 4th place on this list, when check-in videos at this beach on TikTok attracted more than 122.4 million views.

Topping the list of the world's most popular beaches on social media is Bondi (Sydney, Australia) with 660.3 million views on Tiktok and 1.8 million hashtagged posts on Instagram.

In addition to Bondi Beach, the rest of the top 10 most checked-in beaches on Instagram are: Kelingking Beach (Indonesia), Ipanema Beach (Brazil), Airlie Beach (Australia), Bavar Beach (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic), Nissi Beach (Ayia Napa, Cyprus), Whitehaven Beach (Queensland, Australia), Pattaya (Thailand) and JBR Beach (Jumeirah, UAE).

Vung Tau also ranked 18th in the top 20 most popular beaches on Instagram, with more than 96,000 posts mentioning this location as of June 20, 2023.
