From 2019 to 2023, the project has supported 78 business models in Hoa Binh and Lao Cai provinces. Of which, more than 50 projects of ethnic minority youth in Lao Cai have been enhanced in business management, financial management, sales marketing, participation in trade fairs, and expansion of business partner networks.
Startup experts have provided intensive support to 20 of the incubator’s most potential models, helping to build brands and connect outputs for products and services. These startup models mainly provide organic products, clean agricultural products, traditional handmade brocade embroidery products, community tourism services and cultural experiences of ethnic minorities in the Northwest mountainous region.

The project has successfully connected the project's products to the clean food chain in major cities, bringing them to consumers widely. The distribution network has been expanded in Hanoi, Lao Cai, Hai Phong, Ha Long, Ninh Binh, Ho Chi Minh City, An Giang and many other localities.
At the conference, representatives of departments, sectors, localities and experts shared about local support policies, connection opportunities and market trends for youth.
“Business Incubator” is the first model to support ethnic minority youth to start a business in Vietnam, considered a model to promote the youth start-up movement in the locality. With the goal of creating a network to “incubate” youth start-up initiatives, support the implementation of business ideas and spread the spirit of start-up, the project has contributed to bringing benefits to the ethnic minority community. |
