'Overcoming the sun and overcoming the rain' sets up stage and booth for 'Waves Festival: One touch - Ten thousand beliefs'

TPO - These days, the atmosphere at Hanoi University of Science and Technology Stadium has become bustling. Hundreds of workers are working urgently to set up a grand stage, along with a system of booths, welcome gates... for the event "Song Festival: One touch - Ten thousand beliefs", which will take place from October 18-19.

The big stage reaches high and wide

Under the hot weather (October 15), at the Hanoi University of Science and Technology stadium, the sound of cutting machines, electric drills, the sound of metal bars and frames colliding, and the sound of work exchanges between groups of construction workers...

Although it has just entered the second day of construction, the large stage area - one of the highlights of "Song Festival: One touch - Ten thousand beliefs", has clearly shown its impressive scale and continues to be assembled to extend both in height and width.

Mr. Cao Duc Chinh - technical supervisor of the stage area, said that the work had started on October 14. Despite the unfavorable weather in the early morning, as soon as the rain stopped, the team of 15 people quickly got to work.

"The main light hanging frame system (layer) is up to 14 meters high, while the main stage is 22 meters wide and 15.6 meters deep," Mr. Chinh shared. "The special highlight of this year's stage lies in the arrangement of LED screens with unique modules, promising to bring an interesting visual experience to the audience."

To ensure progress, the stage construction team worked until 10-11pm, starting at 8am the next day, to complete the rough part today so that the lighting and LED screen technical teams can start installing tomorrow (October 16). Labor safety is the top priority.

"For positions at heights above 2 meters, you are required to wear a seat belt to ensure your safety and the safety of the entire program," Mr. Chinh emphasized.

Booths and welcome gates

Not only the stage, the welcome gate area, photo booth and booth are also being urgently built by other construction teams. Mr. Tran Thanh Hai - construction supervisor of Anh Minh Media Company, in charge of this item, said that his team of 12 people started work last night.

"We expect to complete the entire job within 3 days, from production to installation. The time is quite tight so we have to work overtime to meet the deadline," said Mr. Hai.

According to Mr. Hai, the main gate is solidly constructed with an iron frame, Formex panels and decorative decals, combined with spotlights to create effects. The booths are built with many different materials, in which the booth uses more complex wooden walls, while the other booths mainly use canvas walls to optimize construction time.

One of the challenges of working on the grass surface of the stadium is that it is not possible to use piles for reinforcement. Mr. Hai explained: "To ensure safety and wind resistance, we use a counterweight system with water tanks and tension wires to hold the structures, ensuring the stability of the entire project."

The event “Wave Festival: One touch - Ten thousand beliefs” will take place from October 18-19, at the Hanoi University of Science and Technology Stadium. In the event space, there are many functional areas related to organization and experience, such as: Check-in area to receive gifts, booth area, stage area. Besides, there is a medical area, fire prevention and fighting area.

The booth system is arranged along the yard, gathering a series of major brands in the financial sector, such as: Vietcombank, BIDV, MB, Agribank , Mastercard, Napas, VietinBank, HDBank... The booths are divided into sizes from 4x3m to 12x3m, with a scientific arrangement, creating a diverse and creative display space to attract young people to experience.

The event space is not only a display area, but also a playground for technology and digital finance. Banks and payment organizations bring direct experiences such as cashless payments, receiving gifts via QR codes, technology mini games... helping visitors to be entertained and access modern financial solutions.
