Duong Minh Chau Commune: Launching a campaign to support people in the North to overcome damage caused by storm No. 10

On October 17, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Duong Minh Chau commune organized a launching ceremony to support people in provinces and cities in the Northern and North Central regions to overcome the consequences caused by storm No. 10 (Bualoi).

Attending the ceremony were Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Huynh Vuong Hieu commune; leaders of the Party Committee, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune and representatives of agencies, departments, boards, unions, cadres, civil servants and public employees in the area.

Last September, four consecutive storms were active in the East Sea, of which storm No. 9 and especially storm No. 10 (Bualoi) caused heavy damage in many localities in the Northern and North Central regions.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Pham Ngo Phuc Nguyen commune called on agencies, units, cadres, civil servants, public employees, businesses, philanthropists and all people of Duong Minh Chau commune to actively respond to support people in the provinces and cities in the Northern and North Central regions that are heavily affected by storm No. 10. Every heart, no matter how small, is a valuable source of encouragement, demonstrating the spirit of humanity, sharing and community responsibility towards people across the country.

Immediately after the appeal, delegates, officials, civil servants and public employees donated to support people affected by natural disasters, helping people overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.

At the launching ceremony, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Duong Minh Chau commune received nearly 20 million VND donated by agencies, units and individuals./.
