Tractor trailer collides with motorbike: One woman dies

A traffic accident just occurred on the western bypass of Buon Ho town, passing through Krong Buk district, causing the death of a woman.

According to initial information, at 1:20 p.m. on May 11, at Km4+100, the western bypass of Buon Ho town intersects with National Highway 29, a traffic accident occurred between a tractor-trailer and a motorbike. At that time, the tractor-trailer with license plate 60C-492.23 pulling a semi-trailer with license plate 77R-049.92 driven by Mr. Bui Van Trong (born in 1991, residing in Phu Cat district, Binh Dinh province) was traveling on the Buon Ho bypass in the direction from Krong Buk district to Cu M'gar district. When arriving at the above location, it collided with a motorbike with license plate 47AN-026.75 driven by Ms. Mai Thi Thanh Th. (born in 1992, residing in Ea Sup district) traveling on National Highway 29 in the opposite direction.

After the strong collision, Ms. Th. was seriously injured and was taken to the emergency room by local people but died at the hospital; 2 vehicles were damaged.

The cause of the accident is being investigated by authorities.
