Jeep cars in Vietnam have "super shocking" price reduction, up to 2.6 billion VND

This is the highest discount on Jeep models since the American brand entered the Vietnamese market at the end of 2020 but sales were sluggish and inventory was stagnant.

More specifically, the Jeep Wrangler model in Vietnam is being discounted by VND1,389 billion for both Sahara and Rubicon versions. The discounted price of this American SUV is VND2,499 billion for the Sahara version and VND2,699 billion for the Rubicon version.

Meanwhile, the Jeep Grand Cherokee L Limited has been discounted by VND2.258 billion, down to VND3.43 billion. The Jeep Grand Cherokee L Summit Reserve alone has the highest discount, up to VND2.6 billion. The price of this model is only VND4.288 billion instead of the old VND6.888 billion.

It can be seen that the difference between the old selling price and the promotional price of the above Jeep models is enough to buy billion-dollar cars "unboxed". This is the highest discount on Jeep models since the American brand entered the Vietnamese market at the end of 2020. According to the representative of JVA company, this promotion program is not limited in quantity.

However, all discounted Jeep models are manufactured in 2023 and imported from the US. After applying the incentives, these Jeep models are still expensive and out of reach for many Vietnamese customers.

Currently, Jeep only has one showroom located in District 4, Ho Chi Minh City. Recently, there have been rumors in the Vietnamese car industry that the official distribution rights for Jeep cars in Vietnam will soon be transferred to a large corporation. However, JVA affirms that they are still the official distributor of Jeep cars in Vietnam.

The Jeep brand is currently selling 3 models in Vietnam, including Wrangler, Grand Cherokee and Gladiator. In this promotion, Jeep Gladiator is not discounted. Jeep Wrangler is an off-road SUV that has been on the market since 1986. Developed on a separate chassis, the car has both 2-door and 4-door versions.

Jeep Wrangler in Vietnam is equipped with a 2.0L, turbocharged, 4-cylinder gasoline engine, producing a maximum capacity of 270 horsepower at 5,250 rpm and a maximum torque of 400 Nm at 3,000 rpm. The engine goes with an 8-speed automatic transmission, 2-wheel drive and differential lock.

In the highest-end version, the car has notable equipment such as LED headlights, 8.4-inch central touch screen, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity support, electronic balance system, tire pressure warning, cruise control, parking assist, downhill assist, hill start assist, traction control and anti-roll control.

Meanwhile, the Jeep Grand Cherokee L is an extended version of the Grand Cherokee. The car has dimensions of length x width x height of 5,204 x 1,968 x 1,815 mm and a wheelbase of 3,091 mm. With these dimensions, the car is a rival of the Volkswagen Teramont.

Unlike the Wrangler, the Jeep Grand Cherokee L uses a monocoque chassis of a passenger car. The car has a ground clearance of 215 mm and can be raised to 276 mm thanks to the air suspension system. The Jeep Grand Cherokee L's equipment includes 21-inch rims, smart LED lighting system,...

The "heart" of the Jeep Grand Cherokee L in Vietnam is a 3.6L V6 gasoline engine, producing a maximum capacity of 293 horsepower at 6,400 rpm and a maximum torque of 353 Nm at 4,000 rpm. In addition, the car is also equipped with an 8-speed automatic transmission and a full-time 4-wheel drive system.
