On January 11, Quang Nam Provincial Police said that a collision between a traffic police car and a motorbike had just occurred, killing a young man.

Specifically, at 3:50 p.m. the same day, the patrol team of Traffic Police Team No. 2 (under the Traffic Police Department, Quang Nam Provincial Police) organized a mobile patrol on National Highway 14B.

The patrol car with license plate 92A-003.58 was traveling in the same direction from behind at km 44+47 in Dong Lam village (Dai Quang commune, Dai Loc district, Quang Nam province) when it collided with a motorbike with license plate 92S1-041.59 driven by Mr. B'Ríu V. (born in 2004, residing in Ta Bhing commune, Nam Giang district) traveling in the same direction. It was raining at the time and the road was slippery.

As a result, Mr. V. was injured and taken to Da Nang General Hospital for emergency treatment but died at 5:45 p.m. the same day.

Initial test results determined that Mr. V. had alcohol in his blood. Dai Loc District Police are investigating and clarifying the incident.
