On the evening of October 20, authorities said they were handling the scene of a truck overturning at Km187+200, Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet highway.

Earlier that afternoon, a refrigerated truck with an An Giang province license plate was traveling on the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet highway from South to North. When reaching Km187+200, passing through Song Luy commune (Lam Dong), an accident occurred, causing the truck to overturn.

The overturned car took up the entire road and crashed into the median strip. The goods in the refrigerated container spilled out.

Highway Traffic Police Team No. 6 coordinated traffic control while waiting to handle the scene.

At the scene, team 6 officers also mobilized many drivers and passengers on the stuck vehicle to help clean up the goods that fell out.

Authorities also coordinated to block highway entrances at the Ma Lam and Dai Ninh intersections.

At about 7:00 p.m. the same day, authorities said the North-South route had been opened to traffic.

The opposite direction remains temporarily closed pending unloading of goods and cleaning of the scene.
