Lam Dong: 1,500 people participate in the program "all people practice sports"

VHO - On the morning of October 19, at Lam Vien Square (Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat, Lam Dong Province), the program "All people practice sports" took place. The event received enthusiastic response from many local officials and people.

Accordingly, this is an event organized by the Vietnam Olympic Committee, Herbalife Vietnam Company Limited in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and a number of departments, branches and localities of Lam Dong province.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Dinh Van Tuan - Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee said: In recent years, Lam Dong province has had many practical activities to develop the mass physical education and sports movement with the spirit of physical education and sports to improve health and each healthy citizen is a healthy cell of the country.

Mr. Dinh Van Tuan - Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee delivered the opening speech of the program.

“I hope that the movement does not stop there. "Within the scope of today's movement, it will continue to spread widely in the community, becoming an indispensable part in improving the quality of life of every citizen," Mr. Tuan expressed his wish.

The event attracted the participation of about 1,500 people from the cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers and the masses in Lam Dong province. Some activities taking place within the framework of the program include aerobic performances, 1km jogging, jumping rope competition, and tug of war competition.

Many grassroots sports activities take place enthusiastically.

It is known that the program is an initiative of the Vietnam Olympic Committee and will be held in 17 provinces and cities in the country from September to December 2025.

Through the series of events, the Organizing Committee hopes to encourage the community, especially local people, to raise awareness of the role of physical education and sports in life, building a healthy and comprehensively developed society.
