In the 64th minute of the match, Supachok received the ball from Ben Davis and shot from a distance to score, raising the score to 2-1 for the Thai team. In terms of the law, this was a valid goal. But based on the perspective of fair play and martial spirit, this was an incorrect action. Because before that, goalkeeper Dinh Trieu threw the ball out of bounds so that the medical team could take care of a player. Most professional players would return the ball, but the Thai players chose to continue playing as if nothing had happened.

This lack of fair play caused the Thai team in general and Suapchok in particular to receive a lot of criticism. Account joshiahlo4150 criticized even more harshly: "The second goal of the Thai team was really immoral. Remember, football is a sport, and sports must be healthy, civilized and clean. I was extremely surprised by the enthusiastic celebration of the Thai team, the coaching staff and Thai fans. It was really dirty and unsportsmanlike beyond imagination."
