Xuan Son receives support to recover from injury in Brazil

After the 2024/25 V.League season ended, striker Nguyen Xuan Son returned to Brazil and was supported by his former club Vitória to treat his injury, as a meaningful tribute to the player who used to play for this team.

Xuan Son is receiving treatment to recover from his injury in his home country of Brazil.

“Rafaelson (Nguyen Xuan Son) is recovering under my supervision. I thank Vitória Club for creating the conditions for him to receive proper treatment,” said famous sports doctor Dilson Conceição Neto.

At the end of the 2024/25 season, striker Nguyen Xuan Son returned to Brazil to focus on recovering from his injury. Notably, his former club - Vitória proactively supported all facilities to create the best treatment conditions.

During nearly a month back home, Xuan Son received care from leading experts such as Dilson and João Botelho. Physiotherapist João Botelho wrote on his personal page: “He will soon be back and scoring many goals!”.

However, the possibility of Xuan Son being able to play in the first leg of the 2025/26 V.League is still open. Meanwhile, Nam Dinh is currently training in Korea and it is unclear whether the striker born in 1997 will be included in the registration list or not. The team from Thanh Nam also successfully recruited two quality foreign players, Njabulo Blom and Kyle Hudlin.

Xuan Son was a player who left a strong impression for Nam Dinh and the Vietnam national team. At the ASEAN Cup 2024, he shone brightly, contributing to helping the Vietnam team win the championship.

After the tournament, the leaders of the Southern team gave a big bonus and signed a new 6-year contract with Xuan Son, showing special trust in this player.
