Moved by Tan Nhan's voice and listening to the victory news on April 30, 1975

On the evening of April 25, at the Hanoi Opera House, the art and political program Triumphant Song took place.

With 3 parts: Hanoi hears the news of victory, Marching to Saigon, The country after reunification , the program helps the audience look back on the past historical journey, conveying the spirit of construction, integration, and strong innovation of Vietnam in the new era.

More than 100 children in the singing and dancing performance "As if Uncle Ho were here on the great victory day".

One of the highlights of the program is the re-enactment of two victory news bulletins broadcast on April 30 and May 1, 1975.

The news broadcast on April 30, 1975 from the Voice of Vietnam Radio in Hanoi with the voice of announcer Tuyet Mai was the first confirmation sent from the heart of the Capital to the entire nation: “ The Ho Chi Minh Campaign has been completely victorious. Saigon City has been completely liberated. The flag of the Provisional Revolutionary Government of the Republic of South Vietnam has flown over the roof of the Presidential Palace of the puppet government …”.

On the evening of May 1, 1975, Saigon Liberation Radio and Television Station broadcast the second news bulletin from the very place that had just been liberated. It was the first broadcast of the newly taken over television station but carried the mission of opening a new era: “ This is Saigon Liberation Radio and Television Station, broadcasting from Saigon, greetings to our beloved compatriots... At 11:30 a.m. on April 30, 1975, our heroic and glorious city was liberated ...”.

The program not only pays tribute to the past but also looks to the future. The appearance of more than 100 children in the song-dance performance As if Uncle Ho were here on the great victory day is a vivid demonstration of that spirit - a Vietnam that is changing but does not forget its roots.

Singer Dong Hung with the heroic Tien ve Sai Gon , Bao noi len roi - a song composed by musician Trong Bang at lightning speed during Tet Mau Than 1968 - was performed by the Oplus group with the spirit of inspiring the younger generation. Singer Nguyen Tran Trung Quan impressed with the medley Me yeu con - Giai phong mien Nam with a modern electronic arrangement.

Meanwhile, Meritorious Artist Tan Nhan chose a deep performance style with the mashup Tien len chien si dong bao - Ha Noi, Hue, Sai Gon and Loi ca dang Bac . The female artist confided: "I did not live in wartime, but when I sing, I feel proud and grateful to the previous generation who sacrificed for the independence of the Fatherland."
