Reason for price increase: Upgraded features and driving experience
The price increase of the Yamaha MT-09 2024 is completely reasonable when this model is equipped with a series of new features and notable improvements. The changes include the design of the body, subframe and fuel tank, bringing a more forward, powerful and dynamic riding position. These elements help the vehicle slim down and optimize control when operating.
One of the highlights of the 2024 version is the new three-mode driving system: Sport , Street and Rain, replacing the previous A, Standard and B modes. In addition, there are two custom modes that allow the driver to adjust parameters to suit their personal driving style and specific road conditions.
New technology: Maximum support for drivers
The 2024 Yamaha MT-09 is equipped with a new cruise control system, easily operated via an intuitive control switch on the left handlebar. The 5-inch TFT-LCD screen can switch between four different themes, and is standard with Yamaha Y-Connect and Garmin StreetCross integration. With Bluetooth connectivity, riders can receive call notifications, messages and other information right on the dashboard.
A notable feature is the Garmin StreetCross app, which provides real-time traffic information and map navigation directly on the screen, adding convenience to the rider. A USB-C port also comes standard, supporting charging of electronic devices on the go.
Ergonomic design and improved suspension
Yamaha has paid a lot of attention to the ergonomics of the 2024 MT-09, with the integration of adjustable handlebars and footpegs. This helps the rider maintain a more comfortable position on long trips and improves vehicle control.
The suspension system of the bike uses 41mm diameter upside-down forks at the front, while the rear monoshock has adjustable spring rate, which enhances the handling of the bike. Brembo brakes provide dual hydraulic cylinders for the front brakes and a single hydraulic cylinder for the rear brakes, ensuring safety and optimal braking performance.
Constant motor, superior performance
The 2024 Yamaha MT-09 retains the familiar inline-three-cylinder Crossplane 3 engine. Power reaches 119 PS at 10,000 rpm and torque of 93 Nm at 7,000 rpm. The vehicle weighs 193 kg, has a 14-liter fuel tank capacity and a seat height of 820 mm, providing stability and flexible operation on all roads.
