On July 1, 2025, Yen Binh commune was officially established on the basis of merging 4 administrative units: Yen Binh town and Thinh Hung, Dai Dong and Tan Huong communes. This is a strategic location, located between National Highway 70 and 2D, adjacent to dynamic economic regions, considered the "development belt" connecting Lao Cai - Phu Tho.

With an area of over 15,000 hectares and a population of nearly 29,000 people from 8 ethnic groups, Yen Binh has full potential in agriculture, forestry, eco -tourism , processing industry and clean energy. These results have important contributions from the business community, cooperatives and investors operating in the area. They not only create material wealth but also accompany the process of administrative innovation and improve the local investment environment.
Currently, the commune has more than 200 enterprises and cooperatives; more than 1,000 individual business households. Many large-scale enterprises have become pillars in the economic structure, creating stable jobs for thousands of workers; the industrial production value in the first 9 months of 2025 reached more than 2,000 billion VND, the export value of goods reached 50 million USD; contributing to the local budget more than 100 billion VND, accounting for 70% of the total balanced revenue of the whole commune.

Yen Thanh Joint Stock Company is one of the bright spots in the development of the agricultural and forestry processing industry. After 20 years of development, the enterprise has formed a closed production chain from planting - purchasing - processing - exporting with the main products being Bat Do bamboo shoots and plywood. The company currently has 3 factories processing bamboo shoots and plywood for export with a total capacity of more than 16,000 tons of products/year, linked with 12 cooperatives and more than 2,000 hectares of raw material areas, creating jobs for nearly 300 workers, average income of 7 - 10 million VND/month, annual revenue reaching more than 120 billion VND, paying to the budget more than 3 billion VND.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Dung - Director of Yen Thanh Joint Stock Company shared: “The most valuable thing is the spirit of companionship of the local government. Since the two-level local government model came into operation, administrative procedures have been shortened, the investment environment has been more transparent. Enterprises feel the closeness and genuine companionship from the commune-level government”.
Not only Yen Thanh Joint Stock Company, other enterprises such as Hung Viet Trading and Tourism Company Limited, Nasaki Vietnam Company Limited, Hien Vinh Northwest Agricultural Products Processing Cooperative... are also contributing to shaping the local economic landscape.

In recent times, the Yen Binh commune government has implemented many practical solutions to accompany businesses, from reforming administrative procedures, digitizing the one-stop process, to launching the Public Administration Cabin applying artificial intelligence - the first model in the northern mountainous communes. This is a big step forward in improving the investment environment, helping people and businesses easily access public services quickly and transparently.

At the same time, the commune actively recommended to superiors on land support mechanisms, industrial cluster planning, credit policies and industrial promotion. The commune People's Committee proposed planning a 5-hectare worker housing area in Thinh Hung, to meet the living needs and social services for workers in industrial clusters.
“We have determined the motto of action as: "Accompanying and serving - harmonious benefits, sharing risks". All recommendations and difficulties of enterprises are promptly considered, the development of enterprises is the measure of the effectiveness of the government's management" - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Anh affirmed.

Along with the government, the Yen Binh Business Association also plays the role of a “bridge” between the government and the business community. The Association regularly organizes dialogues, seminars, conferences, and famtrips to resolve difficulties, promote investment cooperation, and promote tourism.

According to Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung - Chairman of the Yen Binh Business Association, in the coming time, the Association will focus on implementing 5 major orientations. That is, promoting the role of a bridge between businesses and the government, contributing to perfecting investment support policies; strengthening production - consumption links between businesses, cooperatives and farming households, forming a typical commodity value chain; promoting digital transformation in administration, finance, marketing, helping businesses improve their competitiveness; developing a strong association organization, becoming a "common home" of the Yen Binh business community.
“In particular, the Association builds a business culture: “Wisdom - Heart - Trust - Love”, promoting social responsibility and environmental protection,” Mr. Hung emphasized.

Amidst the economic picture that is improving day by day, Yen Binh not only has the desire for rapid development but also aims for sustainability, harmony and happiness. Each business and each citizen is contributing their efforts to help this young land develop with internal strength, intelligence and the desire to reach far.

From the spirit of "Business prosperity - Yen Binh development", it can be clearly seen that the connection between the government and businesses is not only a supportive relationship, but also a strategic link in the journey of creating the future. Yen Binh is gradually shaping a new "shape", becoming a land of sustainable investment, a dynamic economic center of Lao Cai province.
