Author Tran Thanh Trung was born in 1983, from Dong Thap province, member of Dong Thap province Literature and Arts Association.

Although he has not been involved in photography for long, with his enthusiasm and persistent creativity, author Tran Thanh Trung has reaped many sweet fruits: In 2019, "Lap Vo, legendary roads", First prize and "Cao Lanh, bridge of dreams", Second prize of the Social Media Photography Contest; "Join hands", Provincial Encouragement Prize in 2021; "Intercropping", Provincial Encouragement Prize in 2022; " Agriculture in the 4.0 era", Third prize of the Provincial Competition in 2022 and Encouragement Prize of the Ho Chi Minh City Traditional Art Photography Festival in 2024; "Spring is coming", Encouragement Prize of the Giap Thin Spring Photo Contest in 2024; "Freezing mangoes for export", Special prize of the Mango Photo Contest in 2023, organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the province; "Finished products", exhibition of the Regional Art Photography Festival in 2023...

In 2024, at the Mekong Delta Art Photography Festival, he had 4 photos selected for exhibition (Classifying dried jackfruit for export, Setting up mosquito nets for catfish to lay eggs, Centrifugally dried lotus seeds - 5-star OCOP product, Preliminary processing of bird's nest); in particular, the photo series "Dong Thap lotus strength" excellently won the Silver Medal; previously, this photo series won Second Prize at the provincial competition...

He realized that he had a great passion for photography, so he bought a camera and started taking pictures in 2019. Also in this year, the work "Love for Nature and People of Dong Thap" was selected to be exhibited at the provincial photo contest. This was the first memorable milestone when he started his career with photography. Committing to creating, when he had his first achievement: the work "Joining Forces" won the provincial Encouragement Prize in 2021, although the award was not high, for him, this was a great motivation for him to strive harder, to devote himself to artistic photography in the following years. In the past 3 years, he took a lot of photos, actively submitted photos to contests and achieved many more achievements.

It has become a familiar habit, always the same, his luggage when going to construction sites is a backpack containing not only drawings but also a camera, lens... Wherever he goes, at any time to serve his work, whenever he sees a beautiful scene, has inspiration to create, he always has the right camera and lens ready to capture the right moment. Talking about the impact of his great passion on his main job in the construction industry, he shared: "Photography helps me to be more persistent and patient in handling work and more careful and meticulous when choosing beautiful patterns and motifs for projects".
