100 candidates participate in the 12th City-level Youth Informatics Contest

On the morning of April 27, the City Youth Union coordinated with the Department of Education and Training of Bac Lieu City to organize the 12th Bac Lieu City Youth Informatics Contest - 2025 (photo) .

The contest has 100 contestants from primary, secondary and high schools in the city participating in 3 groups, corresponding to each level of education. Specifically, group A for primary school, contestants use Scratch programming language to solve problems in the primary school curriculum and problems in the direction of creating creative products related to reality. With group B for secondary school, group C for high school, contestants use Free Pascal, DevC++, CodeBlock languages to program to solve problems in the curriculum of their level of education.

The contest not only creates a healthy and useful playground but also creates an environment and favorable conditions for students to have the opportunity to promote their intelligence and creativity in using, exploiting and applying information technology effectively in the era of Industry 4.0, accelerating the digital transformation process in the area.

This is also an opportunity for students at all levels in the city to gain new experiences in applied information technology knowledge, improving their understanding of computers. Thereby contributing to discovering information technology talents in schools, creating a source of nurturing and developing young human resources to serve local socio -economic development and national digital transformation.

Candidates who win high prizes at this contest will be selected by the Organizing Committee to participate in the 2025 Bac Lieu Provincial Youth Informatics Contest, taking place next May.
