This year's Military Semester Program takes place over 7 days (June 16-22), at the following locations: Cam Tu Village Training Ground, Hoa Kien Commune (Tuy Hoa City), Nursing Group 198 (Da Lat City), Phu Yen Youth Activity Center and several other locations in Phu Yen and Lam Dong provinces.
The program is organized with 3 main themes: Training to be a soldier "Forging - challenging"; "Proud of our ancestors' traditions, discovering nature"; "Discovering yourself and community activities".
102 young people in the province participating in the program were divided into 7 squads, practicing to be soldiers according to the new recruit training program, including: training in team command; movement postures on the battlefield; squad activities; martial arts training; survival skills; mock marches; group activities; first aid, drowning prevention; learning about national historical traditions...
Speaking at the program, comrade Vo Duy Kha, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, said: The military semester is a special trainingand education program for students and teenagers during the summer; thereby equipping them with life skills, social practice skills, self-awareness, efforts to improve in life, knowing how to share with the community, helping each other to progress.
