13 schools with the lowest competition rate for grade 10 in Hanoi, 'just take the exam and you will pass'

According to statistics from the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, of the 127,000 students graduating from junior high school this year, more than 103,000 students registered for the 10th grade public high school entrance exam.

Tho Xuan High School (Hoai Duc) has the lowest "competition" rate for the 10th grade entrance exam in Hanoi at 0.64. Following are Dai Cuong High School (My Duc) at 0.65 and Minh Quang High School (Ba Vi) at 0.73. Notably, students who register for their first choice will have a sure chance of being admitted if they do not have failing grades and do not violate exam regulations.

The 10th grade public high school entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year in Hanoi will take place on June 7 and 8 with 3 subjects: Math, Literature and Foreign Language.

According to regulations, each student can register up to 3 admission wishes to public high schools, ranked in order 1, 2 and 3.

Of which, wishes 1 and 2 must be in the same enrollment area according to regulations (with permanent residence); wishes 3 can be in any enrollment area. Students are not allowed to change their wishes after registration.

If a student only registers for 2 options, the first option must be in the designated enrollment area, and the second option must be in any enrollment area. If a student only registers for 1 option, he/she can choose any enrollment area in the city.
