On the evening of June 3, the make-up match of round 20 of V-League 2024 - 2025 between Quy Nhon Binh Dinh Club (Binh Dinh Club) and Cong An Ha Noi at Quy Nhon Stadium will greatly decide the direct relegation position.

Binh Dinh FC has the same 21 points as the bottom team Da Nang but still has this match left to play. If they do not get any points, Binh Dinh FC will officially be leveled by their direct opponent.

Hanoi Police Club only registered 16 players for this match. Moreover, key players such as Nguyen Filip, Quang Hai, Cao Pendant Quang Vinh, Vu Van Thanh are focusing on the Vietnam national team.

Meanwhile, central defender Bui Hoang Viet Anh is injured and midfielder Le Van Do is suspended.

However, Hanoi Police quickly led 2-0 after 15 minutes. In the 3rd minute, Leo Artur skillfully placed the ball into the far corner, trapping goalkeeper Huynh Tuan Linh.

In the 13th minute, center back Truong Van Thiet missed the ball and pressed Ha Van Phuong in the penalty area. The referee reviewed VAR and awarded the away team a penalty. Alan successfully kicked from the 11m mark.

Both goal scorers were former foreign players of Binh Dinh Club. Therefore, after scoring, Leo and Alan did not celebrate. In the 18th minute, Dinh Thanh Luan equalized 1-2 for Binh Dinh.

In the 51st minute, Leo Artur escaped to increase the score to 3-1. However, 8 minutes later, Leo hit the opposing team's defender in the head, the referee reviewed VAR and gave number 10 a red card.

Despite playing with 10 men, Hanoi Police organized a good counter-attack defense. Alan scored again after being "prepared" by his teammates, raising the score to 4-1 in the 68th minute.

In the 80th minute, center back Luis Salazar headed the ball into the Hanoi Police net, but the VAR team determined that Vu Minh Tuan was offside. Anxiety was evident on coach Tran Minh Chien's face.

In the 92nd minute, Le Pham Thanh Long deepened the sadness of his opponent with the 5th goal.

Losing 1-5 and 4 goals scored by 2 former players, Binh Dinh Club "hurts" more than the word "loss".

Binh Dinh Club lost to Da Nang both times they faced each other in two matches despite having 21 points. Binh Dinh only had a goal difference of -18 compared to -19 of their direct opponent in the race to stay in the V-League 2024 - 2025.
