From 2020-2025, the State Audit transferred 17 cases to the Police Investigation Agency.

The information was announced by the State Audit at the 8th State Audit Party Congress, term 2025-2030 on the afternoon of June 7.

In the past 5 years, the State Audit has audited 2 cases with signs of corruption; transferred 17 cases to the Investigation Police Agency to propose investigation, clarification, and handling of acts with signs of violating criminal law.

From 2020 to 2025, the State Audit has provided 1,851 documents and audit reports to the Central Inspection Committee, the Central Internal Affairs Committee, the National Assembly and National Assembly deputies, the Government Inspectorate , police investigation agencies at all levels, and National Assembly supervision delegations... to serve investigation, inspection, and supervision.

At the same time, strengthen auditing of issues that are prone to negativity, corruption, and waste; "hot" issues that are of interest to public opinion, the National Assembly, and voters.

Through the audit, the State Audit recommended financial handling of VND 281,808 billion.

In order to plug "loopholes" and avoid loss and waste, the State Audit recommended reviewing 1,048 documents to cancel or replace, amend, supplement, or issue new contents that are inconsistent with legal regulations or not suitable for practice.

Attending and giving a speech at the conference, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man highly appreciated the results achieved by the State Audit over the past 5 years.

Assigning tasks for the next term 2025-2030, the National Assembly Chairman directed the State Audit to promote the pioneering and exemplary role of cadres and party members, especially leaders;

"Each party organization must truly be a model for promoting democracy and solidarity. Comrades must constantly face many risks and traps. Just one minute of negligence and lack of political steadfastness can lead to a fall," the National Assembly Chairman advised.

Regarding auditing work, Mr. Man assigned the State Audit to improve the quality of auditing work to better serve the National Assembly's supreme supervisory task.

Strengthening audits of areas prone to negativity, corruption, and waste; hot issues of concern to the National Assembly, voters, and people.

In particular, the State Audit needs to promote the application of high technology, especially information technology and artificial intelligence in auditing activities to create a breakthrough in quality.

Mr. Man also requested the State Audit to audit four resolutions considered four pillars for the country to take off.

These are Resolution 57 on science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation; Resolution 59 on international integration in the new situation; Resolution 66 on innovation in law making and enforcement; Resolution 68 on development of the private economic sector.
