200 students will join the "Dien Bien Phu" journey.

The program aims to propagate and educate Association officials, members and students about the purpose, meaning and value of the Dien Bien Phu Victory, the patriotic historical tradition, promote revolutionary heroism, and affirm the significance, stature and great historical value of the Dien Bien Phu Victory.

Through the program, we promote the spirit of solidarity, dynamism, creativity, express deep gratitude to the generations who sacrificed their blood for the cause of national liberation, building and defending the Fatherland; raise awareness of protecting sovereignty and national border security among students. At the same time, affirm the role of Vietnamese students determined to study, follow the spirit of previous generations of students and young heroes.

As planned, the journey back to the source will start from April 25 to April 28, to locations including: Dien Bien Phu city and Muong Nhe district (Dien Bien province).

200 student delegates will participate in the journey with meaningful activities such as: Visiting historical relics and red addresses associated with the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory; visiting A Pa Chai Border Guard Station; donating resources, coordinating the construction of the A Pa Chai commune sovereignty flagpole on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory.

Along with that, students also participate in social security activities, contributing to the protection of sovereignty, socio- economic development, taking care of policy families, and those with revolutionary contributions.

Notably, 200 delegates (including 70 delegates participating in the journey and 130 delegates being students in Dien Bien province) will participate in the traditional exchange "Dien Bien Phu - Aspiration for the Country".
