Spreading the spirit of Dien Bien Phu Victory to students in Saint Petersburg, Russia

VHO - On November 1, Dien Bien Phu Victory Museum coordinated with Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted to organize an experience and exchange program with the delegation of officials and students of Saint Petersburg city, Russia.

This is a meaningful activity to help Vietnamese and international students understand more deeply the stature, historical and humanistic value of the Dien Bien Phu Victory in 1954 - the immortal symbol of the will for independence, freedom, patriotism and aspiration for peace of the Vietnamese people.

Within the framework of the program, students from Saint Petersburg, Russia experienced the activities "Crossing thousands of high mountains - Receiving food and ammunition"; participated in "Cooking rice in Hoang Cam kitchen - Rice balls for soldiers"... These are experiences that contribute to historical education , simulating activities during the war, helping Russian students better understand the hardships and spirit of soldiers in the resistance war against France...

The program is not only an opportunity for exchange and learning, enhancing understanding and friendship between Vietnam and Russia, but also an opportunity for today's young generation to feel more clearly the sacred value of peace and independence, the achievements exchanged with the blood and bones of previous generations.
