3 championship matches at Than Vo Vietnam - GMA 09

The event Gods Martial Arts Vietnam - Gods Matiral Arts 09 - Cobra God will officially take place at 7:00 p.m. on October 11 at The Grand Ho Tram.

Continuing to be welcomed by Southeast Asian countries, the professional MMA event GMA - Than Vo Vietnam announced the appearance of Filipino fighter Norman Agcopra Casocot. This is the 6th Southeast Asian country to participate in the GMA event.

This time, the audience will witness the first regional Than Vo belt match in GMA history, between Nguyen Hoang Thach of Lien Phong martial arts school and Soen Bunsoeun - representing Cambodia Top Team, from Cambodia.

Captain Nguyen Hoang Thach of Lien Phong martial arts school aims for an unprecedented achievement by owning two championship belts including Vietnam Martial Arts and Regional Martial Arts.

Hoang Thach was born in 1991, has 5 wins in a row on the professional MMA stage, and won the Black Panther (55kg) weight championship belt at the first GMA season in 2024.

Meanwhile, Soem Bunsrun is a Cambodian champion and has more than 10 years of experience in many large and small tournaments in the region such as ONE Championship, Kun Khmer. Soem Bunsrun said he trained when he received the information and was ready to conquer the first GMA belt.

GMA 09 has two more title fights. In the regional Black Panther - Divine Martial Arts category, Adrian "The Hunter" Acojido from the Philippines will face Nguyen Vo Phuong Hoai of Lien Phong martial arts school.

Boxer Nguyen Vo Phuong Hoai owns a championship belt after his victory over Nguyen Tien Long at the GMA final held last December.

Acojido has 11 wins in professional boxing events and 4 wins in professional MMA events. He has won gold medals at the Philippine Games three times.

In the remaining title match, Luu Duc Manh - Nguyen Tran Duy Nhat's student will be given the opportunity to take revenge for the third time against Bui Truong Sinh - the key fighter of Lien Phong martial arts school. In the two previous meetings, Luu Duc Manh has never received the favor of luck.
